A little bit about us.....

Lincoln and District BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club) was formed in 1960.  It was the first BSAC club in the Lincoln area.  After nearly 60 years we are still going strong.  We pride ourselves on the quality of training we provide and the warm friendly welcome of our members.  The club has built up close relations with various charter boat skippers and diving shops throughout the country over the years.

We have our own RHIB (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat and compressor, for use by members.  Dive equipment is available for the use of students while training.  The club has a lecture room, where all the theory lessons, for our various training courses takes place, and a licensed bar in the same building.  The club also has the use of North Kesteven swimming pool, for 1 hour on a Sunday evening between 8pm and 9pm for leisure and training. If there is a fifth Sunday in the month we use Yarborough Pool for depth progression.

The club celebrates each year with an annual Dinner and Dance. Where certificates are given to divers who have attained a diving grade that year, as well as other awards for individual members. As well as scuba diving we organise various social activities throughout the year, including a summer BBQ, race night and quiz night.

We are a club that dive all around the UK coast and arrange trips all over the world, we also dive all the way through the year.  In our 50th year we achieved the challenge of diving 50 UK sea wrecks in one year.

We are a very social and friendly club, who offer a warm welcome to anyone who wants to come and join us!
